Prović Livija is an indigenous Croatian variety dating back to the 19th century that yields crisp, aromatic, and fragrant light white wines. Livija was the first Zlatarica ever tasted in London and returned home with medals from the Decanter wine competition. It is named after the first Roman empress, the powerful wife of Emperor Augustus. Vinification is done exclusively in stainless-steel tanks, and the wine shows aromas of citrus fruit, yellow flowers, peach, and pear, with lovely freshness and lower alcohol.

It pairs excellently with oysters, light grilled white fish, softer, lighter cheeses, grilled poultry, and of course most vegetables.

Prović LIVIJA is a true discovery of the Dalmatian climate: an elegant, fresh, and authentic wine that highlights the terroir of Opuzen and Dusina in the Neretva Valley. Stainless-steel vinification has preserved the pure fruit and pronounced minerality of Zlatarica. On the nose it opens with notes of citrus, lemon, peach, and fresh flowers, while the palate brings juiciness, finesse, and a gentle texture with lower alcohol that provides ease and drinkability.
