Nebo Four Grain Whiskey Flight #1 is the first edition from the Nebo distillery and a true signature of their creative approach to whiskey. This complex distillate reinterprets classic tradition through a contemporary, author-driven style, combining Scottish precision with American expressiveness.

Its recipe is based on four carefully selected grains — corn, barley, spelt, and rye. Each contributes a distinct dimension: corn brings sweetness, barley structure, spelt roundness, and rye spicy sharpness. Together they create a rich, full, and exceptionally layered whiskey that offers a new experience in every sip.

The maturation process is as unconventional as the distillate itself. The whiskey spent its first two years in new, heavily charred (Char #3) 30 L American oak barrels, resulting in intense extraction and a firm body. It was then finished in large 190-litre barrels that previously held American Rye Whiskey, reversing the classic maturation sequence and achieving even greater aromatic depth.

Natural temperature fluctuations during maturation further enhance the interaction between spirit and wood, developing an expressive yet balanced profile with notes of vanilla, caramel, spice, and ripe grain.

This edition was produced in only 600 bottles, making Nebo Four Grain Whiskey Flight #1 a rare collector’s item for true craft whiskey lovers.
