Top-quality wine with a pronounced terroir produced from grapes from the sunny terraces of the vineyards on the Hill, in the historically excellent position of Grimalda. A great wine of Bordeaux style accentuated minerality due to the uniqueness of the soil of the locality. Medium to full body. Dominated by notes of maraschino cherry, black currant, ripe plum and chocolate, coffee. The wine has well-balanced tannins and a long-lasting aftertaste. It is also suitable for aging in a bottle for many years (5 – 10).
Pair with dishes based on meat and dried meat. Also goes well with hard cheeses, truffles, and dried fruits. Serve at 14 – 16 °C.
