The Malvazija selection is a new wine in the Kozlović winery, which is only its second edition.
Stylistically, it stands between their classic, best-selling Malvazija and Santa Lucia. It is closer in style to the first, although it comes on the market a year after the classic Malvazija. We can see it as a simplified, focused, and more concentrated edition of classical Malvazija. Displays a nice pale to medium-deep gold color. It has a beautiful floral and peachy nose that is quite restrained, gentle, but crucially shows variety. It is dry on the palate, of medium build with a medium level of acidity, a nice greasy texture and a salty, even slightly steely impression. Only an experienced palate will feel a breath of oak. If he is a little shy on the nose, he is quite intense on the palate, filling his mouth with his fine bouquet. This one just shows how mature and complex Istrian Malvasia can look like at moderate alcohol levels. Created to satisfy her senses and to be paired with food.
This is the perfect gastronomic wine that can be paired with a diverse number of dishes. With its salinity and transparent finish, it goes perfectly with grilled fish, grilled scallops, grilled shrimps, roast chicken, pasta with truffles. Serving temperature 10 – 12 ° C.
