Barun Marquis has a vibrant, ruby color and a gentle scent of a ripe cherry spiced up with violets, vanilla, and cinnamon. This Pinot Noir wine is macerated for 45 days and aged in wooden barrels. The taste is juicy, full, and permeated with gentle and fine acids which give it freshness as well as the fine potential for aging in a bottle. Each sip caresses the palate for a long time and evokes yet another sip. It will warm the heart and soul, and give strength to an intimate company.
It pairs perfectly with roast goose, duck, and feathered game of a gentler flavor such as pheasant, lamb, and goat meat, blue fish like tuna, greater amberjack, or a larger Atlantic bonito. Its best characteristics are most distinguishable when served at a temperature between 14 and 16 °C in a large Burgundy glass.
