Veralda’s olive groves have been cultivated according to the ecological principle in the positions of NW Istria, the northernmost point of cultivation, known since ancient times for its excellence in the quality of the olive fruit from which rich and aromatic olive oils are made.
Top quality EXTRA virgin olive oil bears the protected designation of origin Istria and was obtained by selecting two varieties; Istarska bjelica (share of 38%) and Leccino (share of 62%). Istrian bjelica is characterized by a high content of polyphenols (more than 450mg / kg) which intensifies antioxidant
The effect while the Leccino variety is characterized by its specific fresh and fruity taste.
Olives are hand-picked and processed on the same day with Decanter Multi Fase technology, multi-stage processing.
This way of processing retains up to 30% more polyphenols in the oil. The oil is naturally decanted and stored in stainless steel barrels before bottling.
Yellow-green color with a golden sheen, complex aromas and intense herbal notes such as artichoke, chicory, aromatic herbs such as sage, rosemary, pleasant balsamic tones.
