“Barbarossa Superior” is an extraordinary wine produced from vine variety Teran from the Motovun hills at an altitude 300 to 400 meters.
70% of grapes are dried on the vines in the vineyard and 30% on straw.
Vinification is separated and, after fermentation, it is aged in French wooden barrels for 2 years.
The wine is ruby red in color, with pleasant notes of ripe red fruit on the nose.
The liqueur notes of cherries with a dash of dark chocolate and a little tobacco can be felt.
It is very fresh, dense and full-bodied with pleasant ripe tannins, ripe berries and a hint of green pepper on the palate.
It is best paired with aged red meat steaks. Needs to be decanted before serving. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 ° C.
