This wine features a lovely, ruby red colour with a purple sheen. It is clear with medium body. The bouquet opens with notes of ripe cherries and red roses, followed by cedar and chocolate-covered sour cherry. It is dry, partly warm and soft, while retaining a crisp freshness with astringent tannins and medium body. This wine is well-balanced with an intense flavour and long finish. It is flavourful and harmonious with notes of amarena cherry in the aftertaste.
It is best to serve with wild game goulash with gnocchi. The ideal serving temperature is 14 – 16 °C.
