The wine has a lively ruby red colour, and is clear and dense.
The bouquet opens with notes of fresh raspberry, followed by vanilla, black pepper and a hint of nutmeg and balsamic vinegar.
The wine is dry, partly warm and dense, while retaining a lovely freshness, refined tannins, delicious flavour and medium body.
It is well balanced and intense in flavour with a long finish. It is refined and harmonious with notes of ripe cherry in the aftertaste.
It is best served with a lamb cutlet with black truffle. The ideal serving temperature is 14- 16 °C.
