Wine produced by the Barun wine house – pinot noir from the 2016 vintage, Kardinal.
The yield per vine is 0.5 kg and vinification was done by cryomaceration, i.e. it was macerated for 60 days at a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius without adding SO2.
After that, it was aged for 12 months in stainless steel barrels, and then for 24 months in barrique barrels, half in French oak and half in Croatian oak.
After the completion of vinification and care in the cellar, the wine was filled in only 215 large bottles with a volume of 1.5 liters and was aged for an additional 2 years in the winery before being released on the market.
