Rose 2023 – Rose wine from the Šoškić winery represents the perfect combination between the elegance of white wine and the fullness of red wine. Delicate cherry flesh color, Provence style with a lively sheen, medium coloured, lower density with a calm, slow, wine tear. It is a blend of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir in a ratio of 50:50%. The grapes for our Rose are hand-picked and come exclusively from our own plantations, more precisely from the location of Gorička, which stretches along the southern slope just below the winery. The grapes go through a short maceration, followed by gentle pressing and controlled fermentation. The maturation of our Rose after fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks until February, and then in mid-March it is bottled and awaits its release on the market. It contains 12.30% alcohol. Fine, pure aromatics, with a lower, elegant intensity. Unobtrusive aromas of ripe raspberries and delicate green-herbal. In the mouth, clean, fine quality, fresh, balanced, gentle intensity of taste, pronounced salty minerality that gives it extra drinkability. Harmonious with a delicate finish of taste, delicate raspberry juice. Serve at 8 to 10 degrees in a tulip-shaped glass. Rose wine is adaptable and versatile and can be paired with various dishes. To get the full experience of this wine, pair it with light salads, tuna carpaccio, fresh seafood or light fish, and it is also an excellent choice as a refreshing aperitif before a meal.
