Welcome to the world of the Haiku line of the Šoškić Winery — a harmonious blend of tradition, innovation and the essence of nature captured in every bottle.
At the heart of our Haiku line of wines lies a deep respect for the vine, where each year brings a new composition in the form of our signature wines. With each passing vintage, we embark on a journey of exploration and discovery, hand-picking the best grapes to create a wine that reflects the essence of that specific vintage. What sets our Haiku wines apart is our unwavering commitment to innovation and experimentation. Each Haiku is special in its own way, since only the best grapes of that year and vintage are carefully selected for Haiku, regardless of the variety, the emphasis is on the best grapes of the year, which will end up together in each new Haiku. No two Haiku wines are the same; rather, they are a testimony to the diversity and richness of each harvest. The number on the label of our Haiku wines serves as a symbolic representation of the varieties that were selected for that vintage. It signifies our commitment to authenticity, allowing connoisseurs and wine lovers to appreciate the complexity and depth of each new Haiku. Furthermore, the maceration and aging process itself is adapted to each harvest and to the harvested grapes. We believe in allowing the wine to develop naturally, respecting the year and the variety, allowing them to harmonize over time. It all started with Haiku2, a pioneering masterpiece that marked the beginning of our venture into macerated wines. Crafted with care and precision, Haiku2 quickly rose to greatness in the wine world, winning the prestigious platinum medal at Decanter. In 2020, the Haiku line received its continuation, Haiku4, which is characterized by a softer texture, shorter maceration and less tannins. Continuing our legacy of excellence, the 2021 vintage heralded the arrival of Haiku5, made from 5 varieties, the epitome of elegance and sophistication.
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Haiku, where every sip is a poetic ode to the beauty of the vineyard and the art of winemaking.
