The procedure of making gin itself begins with grain alcohol, which you put in a cauldron in which it is further cooked, after which spices and remaining ingredients are added.

The main ingredient of every gin is neutral alcohol and pine.

One of the specifics of Sette Monti gin is that part of the pine was previously macerated and thus a different effect was obtained in the final product. Immediately after the pine was added coriander, which together with pine comes in the largest amount compared to other ingredients.

An important ingredient that makes this gin special is the bark of bergamot, an annual citrus, whose fruit is sourced from the far south of Sicily and whose role is to bring its essential oils to the wonderful natural scent of fresh citrus packaged in a perfume bottle.

By the way, bergamot bark is one of the most desirable ingredients in the perfume industry.

Bergamot bark, then, we join the Persian rose.

The combination of these two ingredients completes the fragrant-tasty story.

By adding licorice or licorice root you want to get a gentle sweetness, angelica root that gives us earthy notes, chamomile with its soothing and warm tones.

 And so the first, highly praised, award-winning good drop and the first in a series of products that the Damijanić family plans to make saw the light of day.

The first product of the Damijanić family was created less than a year ago, and it has already won three major recognized world awards.

Young Pula gin Sette Monti, shortly after his first promotion last year in May, below prestigious awards and two gold medals already won (Gin of the year 2021- London, Cro Agro 2021-Zagreb) joined last week and no less valuable – bronze from the Worldgin Awards.
