Pharos Grand Cru is a dry red wine with geographical origin from Hvar’s locality Dubje in the middle of the island.
It is produced from hand processing vineyards and hand picked grapes. It is chosen as the best from the autochthonous Dalmatian grapes Plavac Mali and Hvar’s own grape Darnekuša.
Its color is dense red ruby with purple reflection while strong, robust combined deep sort is mixed with barrique taste and smell.
Wine lays out a minimum of 24 months in oak barrique barrels and 12 months in oak barrels before bottling.
The 2012 vintage produced 3,200 bottles with an aging potential of up to 20 years.
We recommend serving it with mandatory 30 minutes decanting at a temperature of 18 °C with the most refined dark meat and venison dishes.
